SPECIALTY CLASSES:
ZUMBA
"Join the Party". Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance class that includes the combination of international beats and dynamic rythmns that form a cardio exercise which is fun for all ages. Class participants range from children to senior citizens, and everyone is given the chance to let lose and have fun.
When: Thursdays, 6:45-7:45 p.m.
Where: Auditorium

VINYASA YOGA
Vinyasa Yoga is a more advanced yoga with continually flowing poses and breath-synchronized movements. This yoga class focuses on strengthening and energizing one's body while calming the busy mind.
When: Tuesdays, 7-8 p.m.; Fridays, 6:30-7:30 a.m.

Cardio Kickboxing
A combination of aerobics, boxing and martial arts, cardio kickboxing is one of the most popular fitness trends to hit gymnasiums in recent years. These workouts, which are inspired by martial arts, have motivated many people to start a fitness program. This intense, total-body workout can improve strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility, coordination and balance.
When: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 9-10 a.m.

Indoor Cycle
Take a journey on one of our Keiser and Reebok indoor cycle bikes. This exciting group cycling workout simulates biking across varied terrain to burn fat and calories, increase endurance, sculpt and define your lower body.
When: Tuesdays, 12:15-1 p.m., 5:30-6:30 p.m.; Thursdays, 12:15-1 p.m.

Gentle Yoga
Become aware of your body and its unique needs through yoga. In each class you learn and practice gentle stretches and physical postures, breathing practices and meditation/relaxation techniques.

Core & More
Core & More focuses on an entire body workout with upper and lower body stretches involving SRRI exertubes, weighted bars and a variety of abdominal, leg and butt exercises. Participants can work at their own pace.

Bootcamp
This beginner/intermediate class is a full-body workout focusing on balance, core strength, cardio and flexibility. Fit moves will teach you a variety of exercises to add into your routine so working out doesn't become boring.
When: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6-6:30 a.m.

Classes for Senior Citizens:
Senior Strength Training
Strength training can improve the quality of life at any age. This class includes using the SRRI exertubes to build strength, balance and flexibility at a safe pace. This class will focus on improving posture while aiding the prevention of osteoporosis, arthritis and the loss of muscle mass.
When: Mondays/Wednesdays:
9:30-10:45 a.m.

Senior cARDIO Circuit
This class involves a little more aerobic activity than the Senior Strength Training class. It also aims to build strength, balance and flexibility at a slightly more advanced pace. This class will help prevent osteoporosis, arthritis and the loss of muscle mass through its exercises.
When: Fridays: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Senior Aerobics
(CLASSES WILL RESUME IN THE FALL.)
This class takes you through 30 minutes of fun as you twist and shout your way through the week. It includes low-impact exercises, strength training and flexibility exercises to your favorite music.
