Catering to beginners and experienced runners, this class will help you get in shape for anything from finishing your first 5k to conquering your next marathon. Weekly runs and running plans will aid in your getting to the next level. Instructor Zach Gordon had a successful running career as high school athlete and continued his running career at the div. 1 level at UMass-Amherst where he was an all-conference member. He holds personal best times of 4:11 in the mile and 15:04 in the 5k. When: Mondays, through Nov. 28, 12-12:45 p.m. Meet in the Y's lobby. In the event of poor weather, class will be taught using the treadmills dependent on availability.
