Free Runners

Free Running is the art of getting from one place to another in the most creative way. This course will teach participants the basics of Free Running. Students will learn different types of rolls, jumps and flips in order to safely free run. In addition participants will become stronger, more flexible and gain self awareness helping to develop their whole being.

Who
Boys and girls 7-14 years old.

Instructors

  • Matt is one of the Y’s USA Gymnastics instructor and pro member. Safety certified with 23+ years of experience, he knows all the aerial moves (front flips, back flips, mistys, rodeos, etc.).
  • Neil began Free Running a few years ago and his passion for it drew him towards the Martial Arts. Neil now instructs Jiu Jitsu and Muay Tai. He specializes in ground work and all the fundamentals that lay the building blocks for this unique sport.
  • Andres is the Y’s Breakdancing Instructor and also practices Free Running and Parkour. He adds a flare of dance throughout his free running and breakdancing moves that allow each individual to fully express their creativity.
