Focus Is Our Children (FIOC), a FREE dance-based community program held at the Y, begins Sept. 30. The program is designed to promote and stimulate the artistic talents of girls and women in Pittsfield. Girls ages 5 and up learn basic ballet, jazz and hip-hop dance techniques from our professionally trained instructor.
Who
All girls ages 5 and up.
Our Instructor
Vanessa Slaughter started dancing at age five with Mary Ann’s dance studio, performing ballet and jazz. She has been dancing ever since and has taught the Focus Is Our Children program since 1995.
When
Fridays, starting Sept. 30: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Vanessa the instructor will be in touch with all participants with their exact class time.

Free for all participants, non-members and members.
