The Pittsfield Family YMCA is looking for an experienced Dance Instructor. This is a part-time position with an hourly wage. The instructor will work Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-5 p.m. and possibly Saturday afternoons.
Hours:
Part-Time Non-Exempt position.
Description of job duties:
- Provide a structured class teaching students in variety of dances such as hip hop, step, breakdancing, etc.
- Looking for a dance teacher with experience teaching children ages 3 to 12 years old
- Experience teaching hip hop, step or breakdancing
- Reliable, upbeat, positive, energetic, and able to relate to children
Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a H.S. Diploma or G.E.D., at least 1 year experience working with children in related activities. Must be creative and be able to demonstrate dance and choreography
