Develop coordination and overall confidence while you focus on the fundamental building blocks for breakdance, including uprock, transitions, floor work and freezes. Get moving, be physical and express one’s creativity through breakdance! The Y’s sessions have expanded to include sessions for beginners, intermediate and advanced participants! Participants should wear tennis shoes and loose-fitting clothes.

Saturdays: April 13-June 15. No class April 27 & May 25
Beginner (no experience needed): Fridays: 3:45-4:30 p.m. OR Saturdays: 3:45-4:30 p.m.
Intermediate (must have taken 1 class at the YMCA): Fridays: 4:45-5:30 p.m.
Advanced (must have taken 2+ classes at the YMCA): Fridays: 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Andres has been breakdancing for 3 years. He has taught throughout the county and is able to teach a range of levels and abilities. His choreography, patients and ability to communicate movement to his students makes him the perfect fit for your child.
Beginner & Intermediate Members: $45, Non-members: $70.
Advanced Members: $50, Non-members: $75.
An annual youth (up through 13 years) membership is $36.
A teen membership (14-19 years) is $15/month on automatic payments, $49.98/3 months or $180/year.
